Yukky Weather

I think I need to go to bed when Ava does so that when she wakes up at 5:15 again, I'll be better rested! I really hope she re-adjusts sooner rather than later with her sleep schedule.

This morning was much like yesterday - Ava was coaxed back to sleep around 6:30 and woke up around 7:40. Marc fed her cereal while I took a shower and got dressed before we dropped Marc off at his course today.

When we picked Marc up we decided to do some shopping before the really bad weather rolls in. It was already sleeting when we went to go pick Marc up. We stopped at the bank first and then headed over to our favourite store, Costco! We zipped around and picked up food stuffs that we needed and were out of there within an hour. Going back out the car was awful, though! The rain had really turned into ice pellets now, and the puddles on the ground were soupy, slippery and cold! I covered Ava completely with her car seat canopy and stroller canopy to protect her form the needle-like precipitation. We headed home carefully and unloaded all of our groceries before having lunch. Needless to say, the sleety streets caused me to change my mind about going to Mother Goose.

Tomorrow we drive Grandmaman, Grandpapa, Michelle, Christian and Calla to the airport for their trip to LA for tante Lucille and oncle Gilles' 40th anniversary dinner. Hopefully the weather cooperates for them!

While we were out, Marc got a call from one of the supervisors at work. He asked Marc to change shifts, from platoon 2 to platoon 1. I kind of hope Marc doesn't have to move, but of he does, he does. We'll have to wait and see what happens!

Tooth update: no change.
