Errand Day

Ava had a fairly good sleep other than a few little outcries here and there. She slept until 6:45 and I was very happy about that! Actually, Marc woke me up in the night more than Ava did! Marc is battling a pretty bad cold and is ODing on Cold FX to keep the worst of it at bay. At 3:30 I felt someone shaking me. Marc was shivering and since he was hugging me to try and get warm, I was shivering by osmosis! I woke up and asked him if he wanted some Tylenol and I was thinking he was probably fevering. He took two and went back to sleep, sans the shaking.

At 8:00 we all hopped in the car and drove Papa over to his half day class. We swung by to pick up Russ first so that the guys don't have to pay for parking. Ava and I came back home and she played for about an hour before going down for a little half hour nap. After she awoke, I fed her and we continued playing until it was time to go back and pick up Marc and Russ. She fell asleep in the car while we were waiting for them to come out of the building which I kind of thought she would because she was rubbing her eyes before we even left the house.

After dropping Russ back off at his vehicle, we went to Costco to pick up our Christmas cards and some photos I ordered. We also decided to pick up lunch and head back home as Marc still wasn't feeling too great and I was feeling a little achy myself. Back at home, we ate lunch and then Marc fed Ava while I ran out to Safeway to pick up some pizza sauce for the pizzas I was making for supper tonight. By this time, I was sick of being in the car! :>

After playing, having supper and then a bath, Ava was ready for bed. Tonight, I held her a little longer than I did yesterday before putting her down in her crib. It seemed to work as she did not even let out a whimper! I kind of thought this might have been the problem yesterday, too. Hopefully she'll have a good rest tonight as tomorrow will be a fairly long day in the car as we head off to Fargo for the weekend! Grandmaman and Grandpapa will also be coming out for the weekend on Friday. We will enjoy hogging them for the whole weekend!! :>
