This morning Marc and I decided to surprise Alix and Samuel at bowling. We packed up a grumpy little miss and braved the icy streets to La Verendrye Bowling Lanes. Alix and Sam were happy to see us, and they got Ava a little stuffed elephant as a reward for selling all of Sam's chocolate fundraiser. Ava likes it and chews on its nose already! We also met with our prospective babysitter as her children also bowl here. She is very nice and Ava was reaching out to grab her glasses already!
Ava stayed at home with tante Lisette while Marc and I froze our toes and bottoms at the Bomber game this afternoon. She was a good girl for her auntie, even taking two little naps while we were gone. Unfortunately we are now out of the running for the Grey Cup. Hopefuly next year is a better year for the Bombers and their 19-year championship drought.
Ava was pretty tired this evening, and after eating some cauliflower (her newest food!) and a bath, she headed for bed. She was asleep by 19:40. As an aside, she was up at 6 this morning, so hopefully she is slowly moving herself back to the 6:30-7:00 wake-up times we were used to before the time change!
Tooth update: Definitely out more! It hurts my finger when she bites down on it now.

We're sad about the Bombers' loss in this house, too. MY only consolation is the 'Riders are out, as well!!! :):)
Cauliflower! Yummy!!!
