Photo shoot

Ava did awesome at her photo session this morning! She did not cry or whine or pout, nor was she upset in the least! She seemed to really enjoy having her picture taken and sat so nicely - she was such a pro! The session was over in about 20 minutes and the photographer took about 100 pictures. I think we got quite a few really nice ones (and yes Monique, we are sending some out to you!!) that I am looking forward to framing already.

When we got home we ate some lunch and Ava wolfed down some eggs and toast. She was then proceeded to sleep with her Papa for an hour and a half! I guess she needs a bigger lunch than what we have been feeding her which might be why she is not sleeping naps all the time? Who knows?! :>

After her nap and a snack, she played pretty much by herself for a good hour, and then we played together on her playmat. After eating her supper and tasting some of mine (fish fillets), she said goodbye to Papa and I got her ready for bed. She went to sleep just after 1900. I would like to take her swimming tomorrow if everything works out. We may also go with Marc to a Rememberance Day service at the Convention Center, depending on Ava's mood at 10:00.

I am still in shock and disbelief sometimes when I actually stop and think that Marc and I have this perfect little being, someone who trusts in us completely for all of her needs. It is just incredible that we have been honoured to such an extent with her presence in our lives.
