So darn adorable!The past few days have been very miserable weather-wise. The highs are hovering around -27 Celcius and dipping to about -31 at night with the windchill making it feeling more like -45 Celcius or colder. Not very seasonal at all! With the cold weather, we are becoming a little more hermit-like, especially where Ava is concerned. We are very cautious about taking her out in this yukky weather and in flu season.
Today was no exception. I decided to head over to Toys 'R Us this afternoon as they had some Little People toys sets that were on for 50% off and today was the last day for the sale. I left Ava at home in the good hands of her Papa and braved the cold. Unfortunately they had sold out of the items but I was able to get a rain check for them so hopefully they will come in sooner rather than later. As I was perusing the baby side of the store for something for my new nieces/nephews, I saw a 3-in-1 crib on sale. I quickly called Marc to see if we should get it as we need to return Jacques' crib back to Joelle and Kevin for Mini Morgan #2.
It is also a special day because Ava is officially eight months old today! I finally dusted off the camera and took some pictures of our little baby who is growing so quickly.
Such a big girl now, but she is still not crawling yet!

Oh, and I'm sure Ava is going to find her own way to get mobile, soon! It might not even be crawling, but walking first, like one of her cousins... ;)
She is sooo cute! But then again how could my neice be anything else right? :) I'm sure that she'll start crawling soon and I agree with Joelle that she may skip right to walking. I had one girl who bum scooted at 9mo and then just started walking about a month later.
I agree with both of you about the immobile-to-walking possibility. I was kind of looking forward to the crawling to break us into the walking phase, though!
