Little Visit

This morning Marc drove the boys to school and Ava didn't go back to sleep for me after her morning feed, so I asked him if he felt like going out for breakfast when he came home. Marc readily agreed and called his parents to see if they were interested in joining us. They also agreed, and we quickly got ready to meet them at 9:30 at Chez Cora's.

Ava had already eaten her breakfast and fell asleep on the way to the restaurant and slept until the food showed up which was pretty good timing. After eating a very yummy breakfast and enjoying great company, we called Joelle and Kevin to see if they were up for a brief visit from the three of us. They were just getting breakfast ready, but agreed to have us over, anyway. Mikka was enjoying a snack when we got there but Jacques was watching "Curious George" in his pyjamas (my normal attire when at home, too!) I played a bit with Jacques while Marc visited with his newest nephew and Joelle and Kevin and then we headed out to let them eat their breakfast.

We decided to go check out the MTS Connect store to get me a new phone in light of me going back to work soon and getting digital again. After two hours in the mall (the line-up was very long!) I finally got my new phone. I spent the afternoon trying to figure out how to work the phone. We also played with Ava who was quite grumpy late this afternoon and took a brief nap in Marc's arms before he left for the Moose game.

Tomorrow is back to Mitey Signs for Ava and I our last day with Marc as he's back to work Wednesday. Time definitely goes too quickly sometimes!
