After seeing Papa off to work this morning, we got our morning started. After the usual activities, Ava was ready for a nap around 9:30. This gave me the opportunity to get in a shower, start a load of laundry and even lie down for about half an hour. Somedays I think about all of the stuff I could be doing while Ava is sleeping, but then I remember that my days of sleeping when she is are numbered and I might as well take advantage of them while I can!
After eating a little lunch, Ava and I headed out to our Mitey Signs class. It was a beautiful afternoon, only about -5 degress Celcius and the snow looked pretty melty. I decided to forgo my usual winter boots and wear lighter shoes to the class. Of course as I was leaving Archwood, it had started snowing large, lazy, fat flakes.
Instead of going home like usual, we headed over to Grandmaman and Grandpapa's house as they were hosting the family for supper that night - a special treat we haven't done in a while! Of course Ava was busy interacting with her cousins Jacques and Mikka, and Calla to a lesser extent. She played with a bunch of toys that are always ready at hand and showed off her crawling and standing skills for her aunts and uncles. After supper, we headed for home and the large swirling snowflakes of the late afternoon had turned into needle-like snow. And did it ever snow! There was significantly more snow on the ground and it is supposed to continue all night! Boo!
Tomorrow we may head out, depending on the weather as we need to pick up some more diapers and cereal. I think Ava is pretty sick of rice cereal! Below are some pictures from Wednesday night (Marc's first day on his new job) last week and from tonight when Ava was 'helping' me do the laundry!

Hi Maman! (Ava actually was waving, but of course the camera can't catch it!)
