Whirlwind Weekend!

What a busy two days we've had, but very enjoyable all the same!

Friday was our low-key day as Marc was at work and Ava and I stayed in the house just taking it easy. Unfortunately, Ava caught another cold (grr!) and her naps were much shorter than they had been than most recently. It was a good thing we stayed in, but of course the cold has progressed and gotten worse since. I hope it will start getting better now because the difficulty she has been having sleeping is wearing her out.

Saturday afternoon the Boys came over as they were joining us for Jacques' THIRD birthday party. Where has the time gone?! I can clearly remember going to see little Jacques in the hospital when he was just born! Anyway, the party was a wonderful success and we all had a lot of fun playing and eating! We headed home shortly after seven as Ava was getting a little overwhelmed with all of the hubub, along with the fact that she was tired and battling the sniffles.

Today was another birthday celebration, this one for Marc's mom. We had all agreed to meet at a local diner to celebrate, but they closed early on Sundays, so we all met at Applebee's instead. It was yummy, and fun to see everyone again. Ava was not her usual happy self as the cold was taking a lot out of her. We left before everyone else did due to that fact, and that we had to get the Boys back to their mom's so they could get ready for school tomorrow.

We had a lot of fun, but now I think Ava is looking forward to taking a break for the next day or two!
