We headed out to do some errands this morning, after Papa let me sleep this morning as a treat(!) and we stopped in at Toys R Us to see if they had a Superyard that we could use to keep Ava away from the stairs but still allow her to play freely in the basement. Luckily for us, they did have some and Marc purchased one while I stayed in the car with a sleeping Ava. Once back at home, he set it up and now Ava can safely play, while Marc and I don't have to constantly be on edge as to where she might crawl up onto and fall from.
Tomorrow is our last Mitey Signs class, and to be honest, while I know a lot of signs and in some cases, can sign the majority of a book for Ava, I have trouble remembering to sign to her consistently! Also, with Ava heading off to Denise's for daycare in the next month, I'm not sure if Denise knows sign language to keep it up. Oh well! The class was very good, and hopefully I can remind myself to sign as much as possible before the verbal skills come out!
After tonight's night shift, Papa is home with us for three whole days!! What will we ever do with so much time with him all in a row?! :>

We love the Superyard - however, Matthew doesn't like it too much these days - he loves his freedom! When he was Ava's age, it did the trick and kept our little adventurer at bay! Enjoy it before she becomes strong enough to move it!!
We have been watching baby signing DVDs with Matthew. To be honest, it took him a while to start doing the signs. Just in the past two months, he's really gotten into doing them. However, he tries to say the word while doing the sign. Oh well, it's cute anyway. It was hard for us at first to remember to do the signs, but since he started doing them, it's been much easier to remember! Keep up the good work - there is just so much for us mommies to remember, it's a miracle we make it through the day!
