I just received the wonderful news that Marc and I have a new little nephew, and Alix, Samuel and Ava have a new little cousin!
My nephew's name is which is Mikka (pronounced Mee-cah). Joelle went in last night as her water broke at home, but after several hours, had a C-Section early this afternoon. I know that she did not exactly want a C-Section, but baby is doing fine! Joelle is suffering from some nausea, but will hopefully be feeling much better sooner rather than later! I am hoping to head over to the hospital tomorrow to have a brief visit with my new little munchkin!
On the Ava front...things are better. She is demonstrating that she is hungry again and looks forward to eating her solids again. I don't blame her as I would be sick of eating just rice cereal for a few days, too! The poops are subsiding, and the bum is looking much better. She is still easily fatigued, but nothing to be too concerned about. She was ready to be put to bed tonight at 1900. She also has cut her fifth tooth! It's amazing how quickly those suckers come in after the first one pops through!
Tomorrow we have program at Archwood in the morning, and Alix and Samuel are with us for the whole weekend. We have been very much looking forward to having them again and Ava was excited to see them, too!
Sam and Alix also opened their last Christmas gift that arrived a little late from Ottawa from Uncle Art (Frere) and Aunt Monique. They received the "Scene It" movie game, and it looks like it will be a lot fun to play!
