After Marc woke up from his night shift today, we got Ava dressed and ready to get her passport photo done. We are planning a trip to the States in the next month, and although we don't need a passport for her until 2009, we thought it might be wise to get the passport now and avoid the rush and inevitable price hike.
We headed out to WalMart (not my favourite choice, but fairly convenient) and while the photographers there are not exactly what I would call professional in any way, Ava took a great photo!
We were supposed to go swimming with Joelle and Jacques today, but Joelle had a meeting at noon, and unfortunately we were just getting to WalMart when she got home. We hope to go to the pool tomorrow afternoon, instead.
Once we got home, my Dad stopped by for a little visit. He sure enjoys spending time with his Ava! We managed to take a few photos before he had to leave:
After all the busy-ness, Ava took a little snuggly nap with her Papa. Then it was off to take a bath and head for bed!
