Busy Weekend

Butterfly, Skunk and Mario Mario!
Walking up to tante Joelle and oncle Kevin's door!

Too cute for candy!

This past weekend was extremely busy for our family! Saturday started off with Ava's second l'enfant musical class. She wasn't in the best mood because she was still not feeling herself from her booster shots from Friday. Regardless, I think she had a lot of fun playing the instruments and running in the circle games.

We hit Safeway after music to get some groceries for the little get together we were having the next day in honour of Ava's baptism. After about 45 minutes of shopping, we headed home to put things away, have grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch and put Ava down for a nap. She slept for two hours while I cleaned and organized the main floor. Marc and I moved some furniture around so that the front room could function more as a play room for Ava, and the living room could function more as a sitting area!
After Ava woke up and had a snack, we got her dressed up in her costume and headed for tante Michelle's and oncle Christian's. We gave Calla her little snack bag from us and took some pictures. We said our goodbyes and headed over to tante Joelle's and oncle Kevin's. It was even more exciting there as Jacques and Mikka scrambled into their costumes, and then Grandmaman and Grandpapa arrived shortly thereafter! More pictures were snapped and candy exchanged. We said our goodbyes again and headed to Ava's sitter's house to show off her costume. Denise took Ava's picture and we gave her candy packages for her two kids as well. Finally, it was time to head back home and make dinner as well as hand out candy!

All in all, we had about 25 kids come to our door. Not a lot, but not too shabby! :) Ava enjoyed running around the house in her costume, and was definitely ready for bed when the time came!
