Ava has started walking! She still crawls around because it is faster for her, but she is spending more and more time walking around the house while she is playing. She has been scooting around, using the furniture as support for weeks, but at the beginning of this week, she decided to launch.
Marc and I were sitting watching TV and Ava was drinking her night bottle while standing in the middle of the rec room. Slowly, she started walking towards the TV, still drinking her bottle! She made it all the way before sitting down on her teddy bear. We were very proud of her, and also super happy that we got to see her walk for the first time together!
Ava is now walking around, holding on less and less to walls and furniture. She also will walk around holding just one of our hands and walking beside us. I'm sure she will be running soon enough!!
