Bibliotheque!

Finally! After I got home from work this afternoon, I checked online to see how late our local library was open. Luckily for us, it was open until 21:00, so I informed Marc when he got home that we were heading there after supper.

Ava and I both needed library cards as I have never gotten one, having lived outside of the City of Winnipeg up until I went to university. As I was filling out the application form and checking with the librarian that everything was correctly put in on her computer, Marc took Ava up to the children's books and she picked four books and then a "Max and Ruby" DVD. She had fun in the library, but pretty soon thought it was lots of fun to run around and between all of the shelves of book. After we reigned her in, we checked out her books and headed home.

I was certain that she would want to read her books when we got home, but she could care less about them! I guess we'll have to just wait to read the new books together!

As a personal aside, I have made a decision to start doing some 'power walking'/jogging. I have never been a runner, but I need to do something active, and Ava will be able to particpate in her jogger stroller!
