Time has been flying by since my last posting here...mainly because the weather has been unseasonally GORGEOUS and I have been trying to spend most of my free time outside with Ava and Marc!
Ava is growing up to be more and more of a chatter box everyday! She either says or attempts to say new words everyday, and her comprehension is amazing! Even though she cannot speak a full vocabulary, she understands probably around 90% of what we say to her! (She ignores about 50% of that...of course!)
Ava is also demonstrating her heart of gold. Whenever she sees a baby, she very gently hugs and kisses it as she knows it is just little and fragile! Very cute! She is also very good at giving Earl gentle pets when we remind her to. She continues to shower everyone with hugs and kisses and ear to ear smiles with infectious laughter. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful child in our lives.
The weather is starting to cool off, and to celebrate we bought Ava some new long-sleeved shirts. We bought them in size 24 months, and other than being just a little long in the sleeves, they fit great. A little sad, in a way, that she is closer to fitting clothes meant for a two year old than a little baby! :>
Hopefully we will get the opportunity to go to the Children's Museum this afternoon after her nap as the weather is less than great for playing outside. I'm excited to see how she likes the museum as the last time she was there was December and only 8 months old!
