We've had a busy September so far, with holidays being done for the most part, and work picking up the pace a bit for both Marc and I. Ava has been growing and changing everyday, saying new sounds and words all the time. She is also learning ways around objects and obstacles in a profoundly intelligent manner!
On Monday I picked up Marc's parents and Nancy (Kevin's mom) from the airport and drove them home. Grandmaman and Grandpapa joined us later at our house for supper, which was a nice treat as Ava and Marc hadn't seen them in a solid two weeks!
Tuesday was work as usual with a BDI pit stop after supper, and Wednesday and today I spent two beautiful, sunny, summery days in the casino!! Boo! Thankfully, those are my last shifts of the month and I get to be home with my darlings at the usual time!
This morning, Ava and I asked Grandmaman to go out for breakfast, and she readily agreed. We had a good chat, and Ava was pretty patient considering the food took quite a while to show up. After I drove her back home, I dropped Ava off at her sitter's and hurried back home to do some last minute laundry, change, and head off to work.
Tomorrow - camping! Yeah!! Supposed to be hot this weekend with 31 degrees Celcius on Saturday!!
