For Halloween this year, Joelle asked us if we wanted to go trick-or-treating with her and the boys. We readily agreed (as Ava adores her cousins!) and also went over early enough to have supper with the group!
By 1800, we were getting everyone dressed in their costumes and took a few pictures before heading out on the street. Ava was dressed as Sully from Monsters Inc. (a borrowed costume from Jacques - merci bonhomme!) and she was a huge hit as everyone seems to like the fuzzy blue costume! Jacques was dressed as Luigi Mario and Mikka was a cute little clown.
Ava loved yelling "trick or treat!" at every door that we went to. Sometimes she was more interested in just going into people's houses, but for the most part she looked forward to going to houses and shouting for candy. We had to stop quite early, unfortunately, as Marc had to go to work that night and we had a bunch of goody bags to hand out at our house, too. Ava was disappointed with having to stop. We'll have to make better plans next year so she can go as long as she would like (within reason, anyway)!
