Wading Pool Fun

Today was a beautiful day weather-wise, and Ava and I wanted to enjoy it outdoors as much as possible. We called tante Joelle to see if she and the boys wanted to meet at a wading pool in the area to splish and splash a bit. They said yes, so off we went to the pool.

When we got there, there were no other kids around and Jacques and Ava had the whole pool to themselves. Ava loved being in the water, and even though it was quite cool, she spent a good thirty minutes in it. Ava then enjoyed a little snack next to Mikka and then went to join Jacques at the play structure. Ava chilled in the big red swing, newly installed in the playground, as well as walking up and down the structure's ramp. She was having a lot of fun!

Soon it was time to go, as Mikka was fussy after being very patient in his stroller! We all piled into our cars and headed home. Ava fell asleep quickly after we got home, which was a good thing because the pool wiped her out! Thanks again for the fun playdate, tante Joelle, Jacques and Mikka! Looking forward to the next one!
